Yesterday I started finally my next journey to Indonesia after two month staying in Germany with the usual office work. I arrived in Jakarta after a relaxed 16 hours flight with Emirates. This time Jochen joined me, a friend from back at the University of Mannheim, which also did a trainee job for one year in Jakarta. We will stay together in Jakarta until Tuesday. After Jakarta he will go for a couple of days with his friend Victor to Flores. While they are in Flores I am going to drive with my new Vespa from Bali to Sumbawa alone.
I am sitting currently in the Common Grounds Cafe of the Sudirman City Mal. A really nice Cafe for working and having good coffee. Every place got a power plug and they have good Internet. It is a good place for getting your digitalnomad work done.
Later we are going to Chinatown of Jakarta. The Chinatown of Jakarta is quite nice to visit. The street life is quite intense there, everywhere some shops and traditional Chinese styled buildings. You should take your camera with you to get some amazing shots.
